Krísuvíkurkirkja - The church of Krísuvík on Krísuvíkurkirkja - The church of Krísuvík on the wonderful Reykjanes peninsula. Though it does look very old, it's (re-)build in 2021 and was moved to it's place with a truck and crane. To avoid the church becomes a flying wonder, it's pinned to the ground and hold tight with massive iron chains. Wow 😮 . . . More medium format film landscape photos of Iceland on Kodak's Portra 160. I did use the fantastic Mamiya Press Universal with the 6x9 film back which gives these massive negatives. The landscapes itself are "Laki craters" and "Kerlingarfjöll" in the highlands of Iceland.

How does Kodak Ektar 100 deliver in the autumn on Iceland? In medium format - in the massive 6x9 format? Here some photos I took with my trusty Mamiya Press Universal with a 6x9 back. A perfect camera for landscape photography and more. Equipped with the right angle viewfinder attachment, composing and focussing is a joy. And the 6x9 negatives it produces - oh yeah!

Two rolls of Fomapan 200 medium format black and with film. Both rolls were shot with the mighty Mamiya Press Universal using the 6x7 and 6x9 film back. Developed both in Rodinal 1+ 50 for a more gritty look.

A third roll of Adox CMS 20 II film (135) shot on Iceland in last June. It shows photos of the areas Gullfoss, Thingvellir and the South of Reykjanes. This low ISO black and white film is a phenomenon - incredibly sharp and almost unlimited details. As long as one uses a tripod. At least for lower light situations, like they often occur at Iceland. Even though, I tried to handheld all photos and got some decent results. The camera was my trusty Olympus OM1, the lens I used mostly the Zuiko 50mm/1.8 - I developed the film at home and used the Adox Adotech IV developer.
